It’s always fun to mix things up a bit. And most creative people, will tell you that they enjoy thinking out of the box and challenging themselves.
This was exactly my thought process when I was approached my Mike Schinnerer, the creator of a new site called In the Loupe, with the idea of a collaborative shoot. Mike’s site features many of the top photographers in the Capital District. I’m sure you can relate to how excited I was to be asked to be the very first featured shoot for them, especially when the Boudoir twist would be to photograph some guys, rather than women. A bit of “Dudoir” if you will! Mike coordinated the guys to be featured, and stylist Erin Ford polished them up with some hair grooming/makeup before we started.
So let me introduce you to these handsome fellas.
Gaston: A strong jawline will grab attention every time!
Zach: Dark hair and scruffy – always a good combo!
Joe: We love a guy who can rock a hat and ripped jeans!
Jenry: Confidence is the sexiest trait. And when you have it, you have it! If he looks familiar, you are recognizing him from a few years ago on American Idol!
Working with Mike was so much fun. He’s one of those guys who knows how to make things happen and puts his heart and soul into creating the best product he can. I was flattered to be asked to shoot this session. The guys were all fantastic, and brought great energy. I enjoyed meeting each of them, and hope to work with them again in the future.
