Some of you may remember the boudoir contest I ran a few months back. The idea was for women to come up with a concept for a boudoir session
they’d like to see come to life. The session would be shot at Clique Studio LLC, my studio in Schenectady, NY. After selecting our top three, Facebook voting declared Ashley’s “Around the World in One Bedroom” the winner.
We began the planning process, and decided on four regions we would try to represent. America, Bali, Paris, and Greece. The tricky part was going to be how to change Ashley’s look to represent the different regions, as well as the studio! It’s pretty amazing what you can create when people collaborate!
America was our first look. We were going for that girl next door, all American look. Stylist, Erica Sherman of Jean Paul, nailed the soft makeup, and loose waves in the hair. We incorporated our flag, jeans, bare feet, coffee, and a cozy sweater to pull it all together. The perfect elements to get the look we wanted!
