Lake George is a stunning area in the Adirondacks. Jess and Mike chose the Inn at Erlowest for their wedding day. Getting ready in rooms just a few doors from each other, I was able to pop in and see the preparations!
If you know Jess or Mike, you know they LOVE to laugh. From the start, there were many laughs not only between them, but also with the people they chose to participate in their wedding.
The couple did decide to do a first glance before their ceremony. Anxious, exited nerves soon turned to big smiles.
Formal pictures followed, so the couple could attend their cocktail hour. I personally love when couples do this. Your wedding is one day. You should enjoy all of it!
I did mention they Jess and Mike surrounded themselves with friends and family they love to laugh and make them laugh didn’t I? The Groomsmen get an “A” for comedy.
It was time for the ceremony. Golf carts escorted guests and the bridal party down to the water. A picture perfect backdrop for their ceremony. Their officiant was a good friend. And yes, he brought the humor an kept the couple laughing the entire time.
A few more quick images, and it was time to head up the Inn to start the reception! As the sun set, the property just became more beautiful.
Toast followed shortly after. These may have been the funniest speeches I’ve heard at a wedding. Belly laughs from start to finish. A little roasting by a big brother always adds to the entertainment.
