Julia and Matt – Mohawk Country Club Wedding

An adorable couple, who actually live around the corner from me!  Julia and Matt were wonderful to work with.   Their Niskayuna, NY wedding was held at the Mohawk Country Club. Julia and I had met the week before to tour the grounds and came up with a plan for the photography element of their special day. Julia was just about to get in her dress when I arrived. The dress fit her like a

Nicole and Andrew – Lake George Wedding

While shooting a wedding last year, I bumped into a family that I knew from my teaching days.  Nicole's sister, Jackie, was one of my students in third grade.  It's always shocking to me when I bump into the "kids"  I taught.   I still see their cute little faces from elementary school!   It wasn't long after that Nicole and Andrew got engaged, and her mother Peggy contacted me to photograph their wedding.  Sitting down with

Amelia and Melissa – Franklin Plaza Wedding

I met Amelia and Melissa at a bridal show a few years ago.   Sweet smiles and excitement to be planning their wedding.   I was honored when they contacted me, and asked that I be their photographer.   We met up again at my studio - chatted about their day.   That's always such a fun piece to me.  I love when I see that sparkle in their eyes, as they envision the details of their wedding day.

Kate and Oliva’s – Round Lake, NY Wedding

I'm always flattered when a couple selects me as their wedding photographer.   Kate and Olivia are a beautiful couple, and I was certainly excited to capture their day.   Olivia's  family has a house in Round Lake, NY.   This would be their venue.  A big white tent, on the beautiful property was all that was needed.   I met Olivia there, and got ready to set up the couple's first look.  The excited nerves quickly disappeared

Christina & Adam: Rochester, NY Wedding

My last wedding of the 2014 year. There's always something special about the one that is the last.  Having the bride and a handful of the guests, as well as the DJ's,  be childhood friends, it's another level!  Christina and I have kept in touch over the years since graduating HS together.  She's a talented graphic designer who has actually designed my logos and brochures!  I'd also met Adam on a few occasions.  A sweet

Caitlyn & Jason : Lake George Club Wedding

I met Caitlyn and Jason well over a year ago.   We talked about their wedding plans, and set up an engagement session.   We also found out we were neighbors, living only a few streets away from each other in Niskayuna, NY.  The day of the wedding Jason was at their home, and Caitlyn at her parents just down the block.  Having them getting ready so close, made it easy to pop over to see them

Jess & Mike : The Inn at Erlowest Wedding

Lake George is a stunning area in the Adirondacks.  Jess and Mike chose the Inn at Erlowest for their wedding day.  Getting ready in rooms just a few doors from each other, I was able to pop in and see the preparations! If you know Jess or Mike, you know they LOVE to laugh.   From the start, there were many laughs not only between them, but also with the people they chose to participate in

Eileen & Alden: Bolton Landing Wedding

I first met Eileen and Alden while they were on a visit to NY up in the Lake George region.  We met for coffee, and talked about their wedding day.   Alden's  family owns property in Bolton Landing, which is where they were going to hold their wedding. I knew the area, and how stunning it could be.  The properties blew me away.  And yes, I said properties!  After a conversation with Alden, he explained

Christina & Tim – Altamont Manor Wedding

It may have been raining the day of Christina and Tim's wedding, but their day was perfect.  The ceremony and reception was held at the Altamont Manor  a beautifully restored Victorian home. I met Christina and her bride's maids first as she finished getting ready for the day.  Before getting into her dress - I of course had to steal it away for a few detail shots Christina and Tim really wanted to enjoy their

Mindy & Nick – Pat’s Barn Wedding

I met Mindy and Nick over a year ago to chat about their wedding - they struck me as an easy going couple, that just wanted to really enjoy their wedding, and have images that documented that.   On their beautiful day, they stayed true to that exact sweet couple I met.   Big smiles, genuine thanks, and easy to work with! I met up with Mindy, her bridesmaids and family, at her parents home in Troy.
