An adorable couple, who actually live around the corner from me! Julia and Matt were wonderful to work with. Their Niskayuna, NY wedding was held at the Mohawk Country Club. Julia and I had met the week before to tour the grounds and came up with a plan for the photography element of their special day.
Julia was just about to get in her dress when I arrived. The dress fit her like a glove. The delicate sleeve, perfect!
The guys arrived and met up at the bar. A few quick shots of these handsome fellas, before Matt saw his bride for the first time.
Before heading to the ceremony, their bridal party and family joined in to do their formal portraits. Again, this is a choice I love to hear my couples make. By taking care of some of the formalities before, they are then able to enjoy their cocktail hour with their guests.
Their ceremony was held outside over looking the golf course. A simple ceremony, and these two were husband and wife.
Dinner would be held inside. The soft colors, and touches of flowers as well as candles enhanced the already beautiful space.
As the sun tucked behind the trees, I stole Julia and Matt for another few minutes for photos. With the excited nerves behind them, relaxed smiles stretched from ear to ear. 
The rest of the evening was filled with heartfelt toasts, and dancing. A beautiful night, a great couple. Honored to have been their photographer! Congratulations again Julia and Matt.
