Aimee & Angelo – Galway Chapel Wedding: Albany, NY Wedding Photographer

A wedding in the country - that's the theme when couples select the Chapel in Galway, NY for their wedding day.  The Chapel, located very close to Saratoga Springs,  was first build in 1859 - and has been restored, retaining so much of the original structure.   I had been there before,  and was thrilled to hear Aimee tell me that was where the ceremony would take place. Aimee and Angelo decided on doing a first glance

Another very big congratulations to this incredible couple.   Michele and Makki could not have had a better day for their Saratoga National wedding! The day started off at the Hilton on Broadway in Saratoga Springs, NY.  Stylist Erica Sherman of Jean Paul Salon and Spas was working her magic when I arrived.  Michele knows Erica from work, and I work with Erica for many of my sessions.  The familiarity we have with one another certainly

Cori and Liam’s – Pat’s Barn Troy, NY : Albany, NY Wedding Photography

Cori and Liam decided on the beautiful venue, Pat's Barn, for  their wedding.  It's actually located in Troy, NY in the Rensselaer Technology Park.  Although this is a relatively "new" venue the barn itself has been around for a long time!  The barn has resided in the Tech Park for over 250 years.  It has been rebuilt preserving the character of this historic Dutch homestead by using much of the original structure.  Working with this

Tina and Jason’s Wedding at Highland Park, Rochester NY – Albany, NY Wedding Photographer

So right from the title you may be wondering how it is that I shot a wedding in Rochester, NY.  I'm from there originally, and I have a very large extended family who still live there.   To most people's surprise, it really is only a 3 hour drive from Albany, NY.       Although we're pretty busy visiting family when we make drives out there, I do keep in touch with a few friends

Each wedding is special, and unique.  This one, was no exception.  I was honored to witness, as well as photograph this wedding that had so much meaning.  As we all know, New York State finally approved the Marriage Equality Act.  This was passed on June 24, 2011.  After being together for 27 years - this couple was more than ready to profess their love for one another in the company of family and friends! Cori and Liam’s Engagement Shoot –

This couple was my first couple to book for 2013!  Cori and I met up quite a while ago - and of course I was thrilled when she confirmed that they wanted me to be their photographer.  The original plan was to keep it simple, and they did not select a package with an engagement shoot.  About a month ago, I received a message from her saying that they had been thinking it may in

Jenny & Brian’s Barn Wedding – Albany, NY Wedding Photographer

What started as a rainy morning, certainly turned into a beautiful late afternoon for this adorable couple.  Jenny and Brian chose the historic Mabee Farm venue for their ceremony and reception.  I'd never been there, so it was fun to roam the grounds to see all that it had to offer!  This large barn above, is where the reception was held.  Rustic, and romantic!  Barn/Farm weddings are becoming the "in" thing.  I booked my first
