I met Caitlyn and Jason well over a year ago. We talked about their wedding plans, and set up an engagement session. We also found out we were neighbors, living only a few streets away from each other in Niskayuna, NY. The day of the wedding Jason was at their home, and Caitlyn at her parents just down the block. Having them getting ready so close, made it easy to pop over to see them both before heading to the church. It wasn’t surprising to walk in and see Caitlin already looking stunning.
While the beautiful bride finished up, I headed out to see Jason. The groom looked great – a bit of nerves, but very excited to see his to be wife.
Again, because the bride and groom were only minutes away, I was able to pop back over to see Caitlyn get her in dress before heading to the church. Her dress was even more stunning on. Her jewelry, the perfect compliment to her look. Seeing her Grandmother tear up, completely in awe of her gorgeous Granddaughter was a moment I was glad to capture.
Caitlyn and Jason selected St. John the Evangelist church for their ceremony. It is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen.
The officiant for the wedding was Caitlyn’s uncle. I love when the couple has a personal connection with their officiant.
After a few photos in the church, it was time to head up to the Lake George Club. A gorgeous day to have a reception on the lake. I also want to mention that the staff there were a pleasure to work with. There was no question that working together, to give the bride and groom the best day of their lives, was top priority. Before heading into the cocktail hour, I was able to steal the newly weds for just a few more pictures.
These two were surrounded by good friends and family. An impressive first dance, cake cutting and dancing filled the evening. As the sun was setting we popped back outside for a few more pictures. Another congratulations to this gorgeous couple!
